Susukino is the entertainment district of Sapporo.
There are not so many people in the street during the daytime, but at night, especially on weekends, it is crowded with many people.
If you have a lot of luggage when you go out for a drink in Susukino, you may get tired if you keep moving.
In such cases, you can use the coin lockers at Susukino Station.
On this page, we will introduce the locations, fees, and hours of use of the coin lockers at Susukino Station, with photos.
Coin Locker Locations at Susukino Station

First, let me show you the locations of coin locker installations at Susukino Station.
I found that there are two coin locker locations at Susukino Station.
One is just outside the ticket gate on the right, and the other is outside the ticket gate in front of the entrance to Pole Town.
I will introduce what each one looks like from now on with pictures.
Coin lockers on the right as you exit the ticket gate
First, the coin lockers closest to the ticket gate.
There is a coin locker just to the right when you exit Susukino Station.
It is in the direction of Exit 3.
There is a gentle slope, and the coin lockers are placed like stairs.

Rates and quantities are as follows
- 300 yen: 50 pieces

The usage time is from the time of the first subway train to the time of the last train.
Coin-operated lockers at Susukino Station are time-based, and the fee is for one time use within 12 hours.
Please note that the period of use is 72 hours, so if you exceed 12 hours, you will have to pay the same additional fee.
These coin lockers are cash only, and there were no money changers.
So you need to have some coins ready in advance.

Coin locker in front of the entrance to Pole Town
The other coin locker is located in front of the Pole Town entrance.
▼If you exit the ticket gate, do not go to the Pole Town underground shopping center, but go to the right before the entrance.

▼ This coin locker was located about one minute from the Susukino station ticket gate.

Rates and quantities are as follows
- 300 yen: 46 pieces
 - 700 yen: 2 pieces

The 700 yen coin locker was large enough to hold a suitcase.
▼It was a public holiday in the daytime, but the lockers were quite full.
(The coin lockers in red are the ones that are occupied.)

▼ This is also cash only, but there is a currency exchange machine.

However, only 1,000-yen bills are accepted, so if you do not have a 1,000-yen bill, shop at another store or withdraw 1,000 yen from a convenience store ATM.
Video showing the location of coin lockers at Susukino Station
It may be difficult to visualize from just a picture, so I will show you a video of where the coin lockers are located from the exit of the Susukino station ticket gate.
You can also use it for the live concert at Zepp Sapporo.
Next to Susukino station is Nakajima Koen station, where you will find Zepp Sapporo, known for its large live music clubs.
When attending a live concert, you will probably leave your luggage at the station, so it is convenient to use Susukino Station beforehand.
That way, you will not have to wait in line at the coin lockers at Zepp Sapporo.
finally
I have the impression that there are many people using Susukino, but I felt that there are not many coin lockers installed.
The reason for the small number of coin-operated lockers may be because Susukino is an entertainment district and people tend to forget their luggage after drinking….
If I were you, I would leave my luggage in a locker and forget about it after drinking and go home.
Nevertheless, when you go to Susukino for a drink, you will enjoy it more if you go light!
If you use a coin locker, be careful not to forget your luggage on the way home.
