Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station

Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station is the last stop on the Hokkaido Shinkansen Line and is also served by the JR Hakodate Main Line.

From the bus terminal in front of the station, there are buses to Goryokaku Park, Yunokawa Onsen, Onuma Park, and other nearby sightseeing spots, as well as overnight buses to Sapporo.

Coin lockers at Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station are located at two locations outside the ticket gates.

Exit the ticket gates for both conventional and Shinkansen trains and turn left (toward the south exit).

Suitcases can be placed in the 600-yen lockers.

You can choose to pay in coins or by IC card. There are no exchange machines, so if you want to use coins, prepare them in advance.

Coin lockers near the baggage entrance on the 1st floor

If you go straight further from the coin lockers under the escalator, you will see an automatic door marked “luggage entrance” at the end of the passage, and coin lockers are also located in front of that automatic door.

There is an automatic door on the right side of the passageway that leads out to the “Ekimae Hiroba Mae” (Station Square), but please note that it is not that door.

You can choose to pay in coins or by IC card. This one is equipped with a 1,000-yen bill changer.

Notes on using coin lockers at Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station

Coin-operated lockers at Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station can be used for a maximum of three days.

A one-day charge will be added at the end of each business hour.

If you leave your items for more than 4 days, they will be moved to another location and disposed of after 30 days of storage.
