On this page, I’m presenting information about the coin-operated lockers and luggage storage facilities at Yufuin Station.
Coin Lockers at Yufuin Station
Coin-operated lockers are available at Yufuin Station and in a nearby store.
Coin-operated lockers at train stations
There are a small number of coin-operated lockers at Yufuin Station itself.
Due to the large number of Korean tourists, almost all of them were in use when I checked.
- 600 yen: 21 pieces
- 700 yen: 21 pieces
There are many medium and large coin-operated lockers.
There is also a money exchange machine, so it is easy to use even if you do not have any coins.
Payment is by cash only.

- 400 yen: 6 pieces
- 600 yen: 6 pieces
- 700 yen: 4 pieces
They come in all sizes, from small to large.
Suitcases can also fit.
Payment can be made in cash or with a transport system IC card.
You can also pay with Suica, SUGOCA, etc.

Coin lockers and luggage storage services are also available in the souvenir shop “Hinoshin” across from Yufuin Station.
The number of coin lockers is as follows
- 300 yen: 30 pieces
- 500 yen: 30 pieces

This service is available from 9:30 to 17:00 and is recommended for same-day use.
