Survey date: January 12, 2023

Abashiri Station is the terminus for both the Ishihoku Main Line and the Kushiro Main Line, and passengers change trains at this station except for some direct runs. The station has a waiting area where you can buy the famous “Kanimeshi” (crabmeat), and a cafe is also available.
It takes about 8 minutes by bus to get to “Museum Abashiri Prison” and “Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum”. (At the time of the survey, the bus stop was located in front of Sukiya, a little distance from the station. It was hard to find, so please be careful when using the bus.)
I will now introduce the coin lockers at Abashiri Station.
Coin Lockers at Abashiri Station
To get to the coin-operated lockers at Abashiri Station, first go straight through the ticket gate, then turn right at the end of the gate and go out the station entrance.
As you exit the station, there is an entrance to a coffee shop diagonally to the right, and the coin lockers are located behind the coffee shop.
