Furano is famous for its lavender. It is also a well-known tourist destination.
If you go there by train, Furano Station is the gateway to Furano.
At Furano Station, coin lockers were installed, so if you have a very large amount of luggage, you can lighten your load by leaving it with them before you move.
Coin Lockers at Furano Station
The coin lockers at Furano Station are located to the left as you exit the ticket gate.
The coin lockers are located behind the standing noodle shop.

- 600 yen: 8 pieces
There are small and large coin lockers at Furano Station.
The large coin lockers can hold suitcases.
Payment is by cash only, and transportation system IC cards such as Suica are not accepted.
Notes on using the coin lockers at Furano Station
You can use the coin lockers at Furano Station for up to 72 hours.
Note that if you leave your items in the locker for more than 72 hours, they will be moved to another location. In that case, they will be kept for up to 30 days.
