JR Shibuya Station coin lockers and luggage storage

On this page, I would like to share information about the coin-operated machines at JR Shibuya Station.

Coin Lockers at JR Shibuya Station

There are many coin lockers at Shibuya Station because it is a terminal station.

Coin Lockers at South Ticket Gate

There were three coin boxes at the south gate.

  • 400 yen: 46 pieces
  • 500 yen: 29 pieces
  • 700 yen: 14 pieces

There are quite a few of them as they are lined up side by side. There are also large coin-operated lockers that can accommodate suitcases.

Cash and Transport IC cards are accepted for payment.
You can also pay with Suica or PASMO.

  • 500 yen: 8 pieces
  • 700 yen: 8 pieces

They have an equal number of small, medium and large coin-operated lockers.
I don’t know if the location is good or not, but it was not empty even on a weekday.

You can pay with cash or with a Transportation System IC card.

There are more small coin-operated lockers. There are fewer medium and large coin-operated lockers.

Payment methods are cash and transport IC cards.

Coin lockers at the new south ticket gate

There are coin lockers across from the new south ticket gate.

Coin lockers in the central ticket gate

Coin lockers are located inside the central ticket gate, next to the KIOSK.

Coin lockers inside the Hachiko ticket gates

Coin lockers are located just inside the Hachiko ticket gate on the right.

Notes on using coin lockers at Shibuya Station

Coin lockers at Shibuya Station can be used from the first train to the last train. You can use them for up to three days.

After 2:00 am, you will be charged for the entire day.

Please note that if you leave your locker for more than 4 days, it will be moved to another location. In this case it will be kept for up to 30 days.
