Kaiyukan is a famous aquarium in Osaka.
It is a popular excursion spot and spacious inside, so you will have more fun if you go there with less luggage.
In this page, I will introduce the coin locker information of Kaiyukan.
Coin Lockers at Kaiyukan
There is one coin locker each before and after entry to Kaiyukan.
Coin lockers at 2nd floor entrance building
There are three coin-operated lockers at the entrance of the 2nd floor entrance building.
This is a free zone and can be used without a Kaiyukan ticket.



- 200 yen: 21 pieces
- 300 yen: 3 pcs.
- 400 yen: 9 pieces
- 600 yen: 3 pieces
- 700 yen: 6 pieces
There are many types of coin-operated lockers, and inexpensive ones can be used for as little as 200 yen. For smaller luggage such as backpacks, 200 yen coin-operated lockers are sufficient.
If you want to leave a suitcase, you can use a 600 yen or 700 yen coin locker.
Payment is by cash only.
ICOCA and other transport system IC cards are not accepted.
As for availability, when I checked at noon on a weekday, almost half of the lockers were empty.
You can use it until 20:00.
Coin lockers near the entrance on the 3rd floor
There are also coin lockers near the entrance on the third floor of Kaiyukan.
There is also a currency exchange machine, so you can use them even if you do not have coins.


Recommended to deposit before going to Kaiyukan.
If you are going to Kaiyukan by public transportation, it is easier to move around if you leave your luggage before going to Kaiyukan.
You can also leave your luggage at Osaka Port Station and Tempozan Market Place.
