Maruyama Koen Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway is the closest station to Maruyama Park, Maruyama Zoo, and Hokkaido Shrine nearby.
If you go for a walk, you will have to walk quite a bit, so it will be easier if you leave your large luggage in the coin lockers at Maruyama Koen Station.
On holidays, there are a surprisingly large number of users.
Maruyama Koen Station Coin Locker Location
There are several coin lockers at Maruyama Koen Station in the station and bus terminal.
I will introduce them one by one.
There are coin lockers in the direction of Exit 1, 2, 3, and 6

- 500 yen/12 hours: 6 pieces
 - 300 yen/12 hours: 16 pieces

There were 16 small 300 yen coin lockers and 6 large 500 yen coin lockers.
The large ones can hold suitcases.
The locker on the left side is not operated with a key, but with a touch.
Instructions on how to use the lockers are written on the lockers, so you can operate them while referring to the instructions!
Fees are added every 12 hours, and you can use them for up to 72 hours.
Coin-operated lockers located on the basement floor of Maruyama Class
Coin lockers are located near the entrance from the parking lot on the first basement floor of Maruyama Class, a commercial facility connected to Maruyama Koen Station.

- 100 yen (small): 20 pieces
 - 100 yen (medium size): 16 pieces

Regardless of size, they can all be used for 100 yen. There are no large coin lockers that can hold huge suitcases.
Coin-operated lockers at Maruyama Class can only be used on the same day.
Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:00, so if you can deposit and pick up your items in that time, they are the cheapest coin lockers.
Coin lockers located at Exit 2 bus terminal
Go to Exit 2 of Maruyama Koen Station and you will find the bus terminal.
There is one coin locker in the bus terminal.

- 300 yen: 8 pieces
 - 500 yen: 2 pieces

This is a type of coin-operated locker that charges an additional fee for every 12 hours.
A 500 yen coin locker makes it easy to leave large suitcases.
Payment is by cash only.
Notes on using coin lockers at Maruyama Koen Station
Payment is by cash only, and transportation system IC cards such as SAPICA and Kitaca are not accepted.
It is a new type of locker that does not use keys, but it does not support transportation system IC cards…
Coin-operated lockers at Maruyama Koen Station can be used all day, with an additional charge for the next day.
You can use them for a maximum of 72 hours.
Please note that after 72 hours, they will be moved according to the terms and conditions, and then disposed of after 30 days of storage.
If you are going to Maruyama Park for a stroll, consider leaving them at another station!
There is only one coin locker at Maruyama Koen Station, and there are not that many.
When I checked on Saturday, it was pretty full, so if you want to make sure you can leave a deposit, you can use the next station, Nishi 28-chome Station or Nishi 18-chome Station.
It’s also fun to walk down a slightly different street.
