Ogikubo Station can be reached by the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and Chuo Line.
There are several coin lockers around the station, so it is easy to leave your luggage when you stop by.
Coin Lockers at Ogikubo Station
Coin lockers are located in Ogikubo Station in two main areas: near the Marunouchi Line ticket gates and near the Chuo Line ticket gates.
Marunouchi Line ticket gates (outside the ticket gates)
Coin lockers on the Marunouchi Line side are located between the ticket gates for JR Ogikubo Station and the West ticket gate.
It is closer to the ticket gate for JR Ogikubo station than the “current location” in the photo below.

- 700 yen large: 3 lockers
Payment can be made with coins as well as transportation-related electronic money such as PASMO and Suica.
You can also earn points by paying with PASMO that is already registered with “Metro Point Plus”.
There is no money changer nearby, but you can break down bills in a vending machine instead.
This coin locker is available from the time of the first train to the time of the last train of Tokyo Metro Ogikubo Station.
Specifically, they are available from 5:01 to 24:24 on weekdays, and from 5:01 to 24:11 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
In front of the Chuo Line ticket gates (outside the ticket gates)
Coin lockers on the Chuo Line side are located right in front of the ticket gates.
There are also coin lockers in the back left side of the station, so even if the front side is occupied, don’t give up and check the back side of the lockers.

The coin lockers on the Chuo Line side do not have medium and large sizes.
If you want to leave suitcases or other large luggage, walk a little further to the Marunouchi Line side.
Payment is in coins only, and transportation-related electronic money is not accepted.
There are no exchange machines nearby, but there are stores instead.
The time limit for use is until 2:00 a.m., from which time fees will be added.
The period of use is three days, including the day of deposit.
The Marunouchi Line side is open until 24:24 at the latest, so if you want to leave your items longer, this is the place to go.
Notes on using the coin lockers at Ogikubo Station
There are two coin lockers at Ogikubo Station, but each has its own disadvantages.
First, the Marunouchi Line side has shorter usable hours.
On the other hand, the Chuo Line side does not allow large luggage to be checked in.
Please choose the coin locker you wish to leave your luggage and the time you have available.

If the coin lockers inside the station are full, check the area around the station.

If you go toward the north exit of Ogikubo station, you will see stairs to go outside.
Go down those stairs, and you will find coin lockers like the one below on the right side.
