Yoichi Station is on the JR Hakodate Main Line.
Yoichi is the birthplace of Nikka Whisky, which was the setting for the TV drama “Asadora” (morning drama), and the Yoichi distillery offers tours of the factory and whiskey tasting.
Yoichi is also the hometown of astronaut Mamoru Mohri, so there is the Yoichi Space Memorial Museum near the Yoichi distillery.
